The International Center for Settlement of Disputes at the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States was established by the Economic Court of the CIS, the Secretariat of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States, the International Union of Public Law Associations, the International Union of Lawyers.
The location of the International Center is the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg, ul. Shpalernaya, building 53, letter A, room 220.
On October 27, 2008, the Office of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region issued a Certificate of State Registration for the Non-Profit Partnership “International Center for the Settlement of Disputes at the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States”.
The supreme governing body of the International Center is

General Meeting of Founders
, which includes:
- CIS Economic Court;
- Secretariat of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states;
- International Union of Public Law Associations "International Union of Lawyers".
On November 24, 2008, the Presidium of the International Center for Dispute Resolution at the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States decided to establish a Permanent Arbitration Court and the Chamber of Mediators at the Non-Profit Partnership, the International Center for Dispute Resolution at the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Copies of documents of the Arbitration Court of the International Center for the Settlement of Disputes under the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the corresponding decision of the Presidium on its formation were sent to the Federal Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
